Audit Log System

The Audit Log System is a high-performance logging engine built on Discord Components V2. It pairs an in-memory message cache with real-time audit log correlation, giving your staff instant visibility into moderation actions, message edits, deleted content, member changes, and voice movements. Everything is managed through interactive menus, no config files required.

  1. Interactive setup - configure your default log channel, alert role, and channel routing in seconds using /auditlog setup
  2. Visual message diffs - message edits display side-by-side before and after differences; deleted messages show author, channel, and original text
  3. 5 Monitored categories - track moderation, messages, members, server changes, and voice activity with per-category toggles
  4. Flexible routing - send all events to a single channel or route each of the 5 categories to dedicated channels
  5. Young account alerts - new accounts younger than 7 days are automatically tagged with a visual warning tag when joining
  6. Actor correlation - matches Discord audit log events within a 10-second window to show exactly which moderator or user performed an action
  7. Safe testing & control - dispatch instant test logs with /auditlog test and pause logging anytime with /auditlog disable without losing channel settings

Tracks message edits, deletions, and bulk purges in real time across all text channels.

  • Message Edits: Shows a clean visual before-and-after diff highlighting exact text changes, author, and timestamp
  • Single Deletions: Logs deleted messages with the author ID, channel location, attachment names, and message content
  • Bulk Purges: Records purge events with total deleted count, target channel, and the moderator who initiated the purge

  1. Run the setup wizard - use /auditlog setup to launch the interactive setup panel. Select your primary log channel and optional staff alert role.

  2. Select routing mode:

    • Single Channel Mode: All 5 event categories are posted to your primary log channel
    • Advanced Routing Mode: Assign independent channels for moderation, messages, members, server, and voice
  3. Verify permissions with a test event - run /auditlog test to send a sample embed to your configured log channel and confirm bot permissions.

  4. Monitor health in the dashboard - run /auditlog status anytime to view active channels, toggle individual categories on or off, or switch routing modes.
